At least 28 bodies were recovered by divers in Bangladesh after a ferry carrying passengers sank in a river, an official said Monday.

"The passenger ferry capsized Monday morning after collision with another vessel," Fire Service Control Room Officer Rozina Islam told Anadolu Agency, confirming the death toll.
