A decision has been made regarding journalist Barış Terkoğlu, who was taken into custody after claiming that during a past raid on a venue called "Kütüphane," which has come into the spotlight due to drug operations, police encountered a prosecutor inside. Terkoğlu was released under judicial control with a travel ban imposed by the court to which he was referred.

BARIS TERKOGLU DETAINED Barış Terkoğlu, who claimed in a program on YouTube that during a past raid on a place called "Library," police encountered a prosecutor inside, has been investigated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for the charge of "publicly disseminating misleading information." Terkoğlu was detained by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams as per instructions.
PROSECUTOR'S STATEMENT In his statement at the prosecutor's office, Terkoğlu said, "I do not wish to share the sources from which I obtained the information in the video, as per constitutional guarantee and press law. I stand behind the news I have made. If there is a suspicion of flight, I accept the precaution of arrest."
