The 1st Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation upheld the aggravated life sentence and 5-year prison sentence given to Can Göktuğ Boz, who killed architect Başak Cengiz, who was walking peacefully on the street in Istanbul on November 9, 2021, with a samurai sword.
