It has been claimed that Vestel Elektronik and AG Anadolu Group Holding, partners of Togg, are preparing to exit the partnership by transferring their 23 percent stakes each in the company. It was stated that Türkiye Wealth Fund could become a partner in Togg by purchasing a portion of the shares, while Turkcell could increase its stake. The three companies announced that negotiations are ongoing, but no definitive binding agreement has been reached yet.
A striking change is on the agenda in the shareholder structure of Togg, Türkiye's domestic and national automobile manufacturer. It has been claimed that Vestel Elektronik and AG Anadolu Group Holding, current partners of the company, are preparing to leave the partnership by transferring their shares in Togg.
It was stated that the Türkiye Wealth Fund (TVF) could become one of Togg's new partners during the share transfer process.
TWO PARTNERS MAY TRANSFER THEIR 23 PERCENT SHARES EACH
According to the claim that has come to the fore, Vestel Elektronik and AG Anadolu Group Holding are conducting negotiations to transfer their 23 percent shares each in Togg to other partners.
Thus, the transfer of the shares of the two companies, corresponding to a total of 46 percent of Togg, could come to the agenda.
TÜRKİYE WEALTH FUND MAY BECOME A PARTNER IN TOGG
It was alleged that if the share transfer takes place, a portion of the shares will be purchased by the Türkiye Wealth Fund. Thus, TVF will be included in the partnership structure of Togg, Türkiye's electric automobile manufacturer.
It was also claimed that Turkcell, one of Togg's current partners, could increase its stake in the company within the scope of the transfer to be made.
STATEMENTS FROM VESTEL, ANADOLU GROUP AND TURKCELL
Following the claims, statements were made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) by Vestel Elektronik, AG Anadolu Group Holding and Turkcell.
All three companies reported that various negotiations regarding the shares subject to the news continue within the scope of their investment policies and strategies.
In the statements, it was noted that the negotiations have not yet concluded, emphasizing that there is no finalized and binding contract.
SHARE TRANSFER NOT YET FINALIZED
While the companies' KAP statements confirm that negotiations are being conducted regarding a change in Togg's partnership structure, there is no finalized agreement yet regarding Vestel and Anadolu Group's exit from the partnership and the Türkiye Wealth Fund's becoming a partner in the company.
If the negotiations conclude, a significant change in Togg's shareholder structure is expected.
