Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index opens Wednesday dropping 0.84%
Türkiye's benchmark stock index was down by 0.84% or 75.9 points to 8.964,97 points at the opening session on Wednesday.
The index has lost 1.27% to 9,040.87 points at Tuesday's close with a daily transaction volume of 104 billion Turkish liras ($3.24 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 32.0020 as of 10.10 am (0710GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 34.5060, and the GBP/TRY traded at 40.2410.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,277.59, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $89.70. -
