Following the explosion, the company announced that all of its personnel are safe.
US-based space transportation company Blue Origin, owned by billionaire businessman Jeff Bezos, experienced terrifying moments during the engine test of its "New Glenn" rocket.
EXPLOSION LIT UP THE NIGHT
A violent explosion occurred for reasons not yet definitively known during a test conducted at night on a ramp at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, USA. While the explosion did not cause any loss of life or injuries, it sparked brief panic in surrounding residential areas.
STATEMENT FROM BEZOS
Company founder Jeff Bezos, in a statement regarding the incident, noted that all personnel were safe and said, "It's too early to know the exact cause of the explosion, but we are already working on it. It's a tough day for us. We'll do whatever it takes and get back to flights. It's worth it."
