A bomb alert was issued due to a suspicious bag left on the train tracks in Aydın Efeler.

A suspicious bag and a plush toy left on the train tracks in Aydın's Efeler district triggered a bomb alert. In the incident that occurred on Tekstil Boulevard in the Central Neighborhood, citizens who saw a plush toy and a backpack on the train tracks in the area where the pedestrian underpass is located reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

ACCESS WAS NOT ALLOWED

Teams that arrived at the scene shortly after created a wide security perimeter, halting pedestrian and vehicle traffic as well as train services, and informed bomb disposal experts. During this time, the train operating on the Aydın-Denizli route was also not allowed to pass through the area for security reasons.

TRASH WAS FOUND INSIDE

Bomb disposal teams that arrived at the scene quickly detonated the suspicious bag in a controlled manner using explosives. While trash was found inside the bag, local residents and train passengers breathed a sigh of relief.
