The Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) kept the natural gas tariff for residential and industrial subscribers stable in February. The price of gas for residential consumers was set at 5,631 lira per thousand cubic meters.
Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) announced that there has been no change in the sales tariff for natural gas used by residential and industrial subscribers, as well as gas for electricity generation, as of February.
According to the tariff table published on BOTAŞ's website, the tariffs for residential and industrial subscribers for natural gas and the tariff for electricity generation will remain unchanged in February. Accordingly, the sales price that BOTAŞ will apply to distribution companies for residential consumers in February has been announced as 5,631 lira for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas.
CURRENT TARIFFS FOR BREAD AND ELECTRICITY PRODUCTION
The tariff for bread producers has been set at 8,549 lira for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas. In the tariff for electricity generation, the price of 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas has been announced as 12,000 lira. Natural gas price tariffs are calculated monthly. In the announcement on the institution's website, it was stated that "Based on the Household Energy Price Index (HEPI) prices, Turkey has the lowest natural gas price among European countries after Ukraine for residential consumers."
