A flag crisis occurred during the program organized for our citizens who lost their lives in the earthquakes on February 6 in Kırşehir. Kırşehir Mayor Selahattin Ekicioğlu reacted to the absence of the Kırşehir Municipality flag at the ceremony, stating, "Everyone is trying to act like a governor. You say let's have a joint program, yet they don't put up the municipality's flag. Two incompetent individuals are trying to manage this place."

A program was organized to commemorate the lives lost in the February 6 earthquakes at Cacabey Square in Kırşehir. The program held at Cacabey Square was attended by Kırşehir Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek, Kırşehir Mayor Selahattin Ekicioğlu, Kırşehir Provincial Gendarmerie Commander J. Col. Ahmet Yıldırım, Kırşehir Provincial Police Chief Erdoğan Kartal, provincial directors, officials from institutions and organizations, and many citizens.

HE REACTED WHEN HE DIDN'T SEE THE MUNICIPAL FLAG

The joint program of the Kırşehir Governorship, Kırşehir Municipality, and AFAD Directorate took place at Cacabey Square at 10:00 AM. Kırşehir Mayor Selahattin Ekicioğlu reacted to the absence of the Kırşehir Municipality's flag during the program.

"EVERYONE HAS BECOME A GOVERNOR OVER US"

According to the news from Medya Kırşehir, Kırşehir Mayor Selahattin Ekicioğlu said, "They won't let us put up a flag. They won't allow even one municipal flag. Everyone has become a governor over us. Gather your cars and leave here. You say let's hold a joint program. Yet they won't put up the municipal flag. Two incompetent people are trying to manage this place."

"WHY ARE YOU EXCLUDING THE MUNICIPALITY?"

After being calmed down by Kırşehir Deputy Governor Alper Balcı, Kırşehir Mayor Selahattin Ekicioğlu returned to the program area and asked, "Why are you excluding the municipality?"

THE FLAG CAME BUT...

Then it was said that the flag would be placed in the program area. However, when the officials tried to put up the flag after the reaction, Mayor Ekicioğlu shouted, "Don't put it up, I don't want it, take it down." According to the news in Medya Kırşehir, Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek responded, "Okay, my president, okay. That's enough now."
