Continuing its rise amid volatility in global markets, spot gold surpassed the 44,000 dollar mark, while gram gold settled at 6,949 lira levels in the domestic market. Market players and investors are focused on the US non-farm payroll data, which will be released today at 15:30 and is expected to guide the Fed's interest rate policy.

Gold prices, which continue to rise amid escalating tensions in global markets and central bank interest rate policies, reached new levels on September 4. While spot gold surpassed the $4,400 threshold, all investors' attention turned to the US non-farm payroll data, which is set to be released at 15:30.

As fluctuations persist in global markets, gold prices have settled into new record ranges. Precious metals, gaining momentum from safe-haven demand and interest rate expectations, continue to heighten tensions in the domestic market. Market participants' eyes are locked on the employment report that will steer the US Federal Reserve's (Fed) September interest rate decision.

LATEST STATUS IN SPOT AND GRAM GOLD

In international markets, spot gold climbed to as high as $4,486 per ounce in the early hours of Friday morning. Trying to maintain its high trajectory during the morning session, the spot price was trading at $4,468 per ounce as of 09:50. This strong stance in spot gold was directly reflected in the domestic market. Gram gold continued its upward trend in the morning session, settling at levels of 6,949 lira.

EYES ON CRITICAL DATA RELEASED AT 15:30

The entire market, from money changers in the Grand Bazaar to individual investors and global fund managers, is focused on the US non-farm payroll figures to be announced today at 15:30. The upcoming data is expected to directly shape the Fed's interest rate cut path, and consequently chart a new course for gold prices.
