Tesla has increased the prices of its Model X cars in the U.S. by $5,000. According to information on the company's website, the price of the all-wheel-drive version of the Model X has risen from $79,990 to $84,990.
Tesla, according to its website, increased the prices of Model X cars in the U.S. by $5,000 on Thursday.
The electric vehicle manufacturer stated that the price of the Model X will now rise from the previous price of $79,990 to $84,990, and the model that was priced at $94,990 will now cost buyers $99,990.
Tesla had raised the prices of Model S cars in the U.S. by $5,000 last December and had increased the prices of all its models in Canada starting from February 1.
EFFORTS TO REDUCE COSTS
Tesla continues its efforts to reduce production costs. In a statement made in January, the company noted that due to a decrease in raw material prices, the material and labor costs used in vehicle production reached their lowest level in the fourth quarter.
TESLA'S NET PROFIT DECREASED BY 71%
The American electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2024. While the company's revenue saw a limited increase, its net profit recorded a significant decline.
Tesla's revenue reached $25.7 billion, an increase of 2% compared to the same period last year. However, the company's net profit decreased by 71% to $2.3 billion. In the last quarter of 2023, Tesla's net profit was $7.9 billion.
