A specialist sergeant on leave in Adana, after demanding to take a female employee from a bar he was at and being rejected, shot a female worker and another employee with his service pistol during an argument. The two injured individuals were taken to a hospital, while the suspect, who tried to flee, was caught by traffic police. It was learned that the arrested suspect said in his statement, "I had drunk too much; I don't remember what happened."
A specialist sergeant who wanted to take a female employee with him after leaving a bar where he was having fun in Adana shot the woman and a workplace employee after his request was rejected. The two injured people were taken to the hospital, and the suspect was arrested.
The incident occurred on Atatürk Street in the Kurtuluş neighborhood of Seyhan district, Adana. According to the claim, Mehmet C., who works as a specialist sergeant in Hakkari, was having fun at a bar in Adana while on leave.
As he was about to leave the venue, Mehmet C. wanted to take bar employee Buse S. with him, and he became angry when the young woman rejected his request.
HE SHOT TWO PEOPLE WITH A PISTOL
At that moment, a dispute arose between Mehmet C. and workplace employee Muhammet Ş., who supported the female employee. The argument quickly escalated into a fight, and Mehmet C. pulled out his service pistol and opened fire on Buse S. and Muhammet Ş.
While the two employees, injured in various parts of their bodies, collapsed in blood, the suspect tried to flee the scene.
TRAFFIC POLICE CAUGHT HIM
A traffic police officer on duty in the area, who heard the gunshots, quickly caught the fleeing suspect. Upon notification, health teams dispatched to the scene provided first aid to the injured and then took them to the hospital.
"I HAD DRUNK A LOT, I DON'T REMEMBER"
It was learned that Mehmet C., who was taken into custody, said in his statement, "I had drunk a lot. I don't remember what happened. I don't know the people I shot."
After the procedures at the police station, the suspect was sent to the courthouse and then arrested by the court and sent to prison.
