CEILING OF THE PREFABRICATED BUILDING COLLAPSED

The ceiling of the prefabricated building where the workers working in the city hospital with a capacity of one thousand beds under construction in Adapazarı district of Sakarya collapsed. Upon the notification of the incident, numerous fire brigade, police, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the area.

In the incident, 15 workers were slightly injured and the Sakarya Governorate made a statement regarding the matter. The statement said, "As a result of the collapse of the metal part on the ceiling of the prefabricated building where the workers staying in the construction area of the one thousand-bed hospital under construction in Korucuk, 15 of our citizens were slightly injured and were sent to the hospital for precautionary measures. Except for 2 of our injured citizens, the treatment of others continues on an outpatient basis."
