It was claimed that the incident in which social media phenomenon Ayşegül Eraslan, known from the competition "This is My Style," was found dead in her home could be a murder rather than a suicide. Eraslan's friend Semih Palancı argued that the writing in the bloody note she shared before her death was not in the young woman's handwriting. Sharing details from the preliminary autopsy report, Palancı stated, "She was hanged by having her wrists cut and her throat strangled."

In the video he shared, Semih Palancı conveyed the details he claimed were included in the preliminary autopsy report with the following words:

"Ayşegül Eraslan was found dead in her home. We found the handwriting in her night post suspicious as it did not belong to her. Accordingly, we informed the police and awaited the autopsy report. The autopsy report revealed the following: Her wrists were cut, and she was hanged by strangling her throat. Our friend was portrayed this way and became a victim of murder. Stop the femicides already."
