CHP member Gökhan Günaydın described the DEM Party-CHP meeting: Öcalan will make a 'four-part' call.

The DEM Party delegation, which met with the terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı, had a meeting with the CHP on January 7 as part of their visits to the parties represented in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). In the meeting, besides the General President Özgür Özel, the representatives of the CHP included; Secretary General Selin Sayek Böke, Deputy Chairman Gökçe Gökçen, and Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın.

"ÖCALAN WILL CALL FOR A 'FOUR-PART' DISARMAMENT"

In a live television broadcast, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın made statements regarding the details of the meeting, saying to the DEM Party delegation, "The CHP will not be involved in secretive matters." Günaydın stated, "During the visit from the DEM delegation, it was expressed that Abdullah Öcalan would call for disarmament. This call will involve the European side, the Turkish side, the Syrian side, and the Iraqi side," he said.

In response to a question about the demands of the DEM Party and Öcalan, Günaydın noted that the former Co-Mayor of Mardin Metropolitan Municipality, Ahmet Türk, who was replaced by a trustee, clearly stated that they "do not want autonomy or federation." Günaydın said, "Ahmet Türk from the DEM delegation told us this clearly; 'We do not want autonomy and federation.'"
