A new development has occurred in the extensive "drug operation targeting celebrities" conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. According to the information obtained, Çeşme Mayor Lal Denizli has been summoned to the courthouse to give a statement as part of the investigation.

WHO IS LAL DENİZLİ?
Lal Denizli, the daughter of famous coach Mustafa Denizli, was born in Istanbul in 1991. A graduate of Lycee Françaiş Pierre Loti D'Istanbul, Denizli completed her undergraduate education in Political Science with a minor in Law at Bilgi University and continued her master's degree in the Department of International Relations at the same university.
Lal Denizli's political career began by serving in various positions within the Republican People's Party. She has held many roles in the party, from youth branches to election field coordination areas, and is single. Lal Denizli speaks French, English, and Spanish.
Lal Denizli was elected as the Mayor of Çeşme by receiving 53.74% of the votes in the local elections held on March 31, 2023, in İzmir's Çeşme district.
