Following the annulment and 'absolute nullity' decision regarding CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress, tensions rose at CHP headquarters, where a scuffle broke out between a group attempting to forcibly remove Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's photo from the wall featuring portraits of party leaders and some party members. At the end of the confrontation, Kılıçdaroğlu's portrait was taken down from the wall, and moments when its shattered frame was trampled underfoot were captured on camera.

The 36th Civil Chamber of the Ankara Regional Court of Appeal ruled 'absolute nullity' for both congresses in the lawsuit filed for the annulment of the 38th Ordinary Congress and the 21st Extraordinary Congress of the CHP. It was decided to reinstate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and the party bodies to their positions.

PARTY MEMBERS FLOCK TO THE HEADQUARTERS

Following the decision, the Central Executive Board (MYK) convened an emergency meeting, and the party administration called all CHP members to the headquarters. With the call, the front of the headquarters was filled with party members. Long vehicle queues formed on the roads leading to the headquarters.

SCRUFFLE ERUPTS WHEN KILIÇDAROĞLU'S PHOTOGRAPH IS ATTEMPTED TO BE REMOVED

While plastic handcuffs were placed on the door of the CHP Headquarters, some of the party members inside tried to remove Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's photograph from the wall where the portraits of the leaders were hung. It was observed that tension rose and a scuffle broke out among the party members at that moment.

TRAMPLED UNDERFOOT

At the end of the tension, while Kılıçdaroğlu's portrait was being taken down from the wall, moments when his framed photograph was broken and trampled underfoot were also captured on camera.
