Co-chair from DEM calls for uprising in Tunceli: They occupied it like in 1938.

The Ministry of Interior announced the suspension of Tunceli Mayor Cevdet Konak and Ovacık Mayor Mustafa Sarıgül, after which protest demonstrations began in Tunceli.

CO-CHAIR CALLS THE PUBLIC TO THE STREETS

Following the suspension of Tunceli Mayor Cevdet Konak from the DEM Party due to 'terrorist affiliation', DEM Party Co-Chair Birsen Orhan made scandalous statements in front of the municipality building.

Referring to Tunceli Municipality as "Dersim," Orhan stated, "Just as they occupied Dersim in 1938, they are occupying our municipality again today," calling everyone to 'struggle' and inviting the people of Tunceli to the streets.
