Statements have emerged from some of the countries that are the biggest supporters of Israel, which has implemented a policy of spreading war in the Middle East. The United States, Israel's largest supporter, which has committed all known war crimes in Gaza, warned that "humanitarian aid must be allowed, otherwise some military assistance may be cut off." French President Macron also reminded Netanyahu that Israel was established by UN resolutions. LETTER FROM THE USA TO ISRAELAccording to a report by CNN, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin sent a joint letter to Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, requesting the opening of food aid from Tel Aviv to Gaza. In the letter dated October 13, it was noted that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is deteriorating and that humanitarian aid to the region should not be obstructed. 30 DAYS GIVENThe U.S. ministers emphasized that humanitarian aid must be allowed into Gaza within 30 days to improve the humanitarian situation in the region; otherwise, it should be determined that this situation violates relevant U.S. laws, as stated in the memorandum announced by U.S. President Joe Biden in February. According to Section 620 I of the U.S. Foreign Assistance Act, the U.S. administration can suspend arms assistance to countries that obstruct the entry of humanitarian aid, primarily food and medicine, into regions experiencing humanitarian crises. "TAKE URGENT AND SUSTAINABLE ACTIONS"In the letter referencing this law and Biden's memorandum, Blinken and Austin stated, "We are writing to express the U.S. administration's deep concerns about the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza and to request that your government take urgent and sustainable actions to rectify this situation within this month." They drew attention to signs that Israel is deliberately obstructing trucks carrying food to Gaza, requesting that 350 trucks be allowed to deliver food to Gaza daily. The same letter also indicated that Israel should not implement a policy of forced migration from northern to southern Gaza. MACRON'S CALL TO NETANYAHU: DON'T FORGET YOU WERE ESTABLISHED BY UN RESOLUTIONAccording to reports in the French press, Macron called on Israel to comply with UN resolutions during a cabinet meeting. Referring to the UN resolution passed on November 29, 1947, which laid the groundwork for the establishment of Israel in Palestinian territories, Macron stated, "Mr. Netanyahu should not forget that his country was established by a UN resolution." Macron said to the Israeli government in the context of attacks on Lebanon and Gaza, "Now is not the time to ignore UN resolutions." NETANYAHU'S OFFICE RESPONDS TO MACRONA written statement from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office reacted to Macron's remarks. The statement claimed that Israel was not established by a UN resolution, saying, "A reminder to the President of France: It was not a UN resolution that established the State of Israel, but the victory achieved with the blood of heroic fighters in the War of Independence. Most of these fighters were survivors of the Holocaust, including those who escaped from the Vichy regime in France." Israel attacked the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), which included French soldiers, and France condemned Israel for "clearly violating" international law with these attacks. There had also been tensions between Macron and Netanyahu regarding the imposition of an arms embargo on Israel. Macron had called for a halt to the shipment of weapons that Israel would use in its attacks on Gaza. Netanyahu reacted to Macron's statements, arguing that he was fighting for "civilization" against Iran and labeling Western leaders' calls for an arms embargo on Israel as "shameful." On November 29, 1947, the UN adopted a resolution regarding the partition of historic Palestinian territories, which stipulated that 55% of the historic Palestinian territories would be allocated to the newly established state of Israel, while 45% would be left for Palestine.
