SECURITY CAMERA FOOTAGE EMERGED
New security camera footage has surfaced regarding the moments when Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı was killed by Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu on the night of March 19.
The footage reveals the events that occurred after the attack. In the images, Canbay is seen quickly exiting the vehicle after it comes to a stop.
Moments when Canbay, who was in great shock, called out to those around him for help and tried to reach the medical teams by phone were captured.
OVERWHELMED WITH TEARS
It was seen that Canbay, realizing that his friend's condition was serious, collapsed onto the sidewalk, holding his head in his hands and was overwhelmed with tears.
As citizens nearby rushed to help, moments when Canbay struggled to stand and lost control were captured on camera.
THE INCIDENT OCCURRED ON THE NIGHT OF MARCH 19
The incident took place on the night of March 19 on Sıddık Street in Ümraniye. According to allegations, rapper Vahap Canbay from the group Canbay & Wolker wanted to reconcile with singer Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, with whom he had recently separated. Canbay sought help from his friend Kubilay Kundakçı (21), with whom he had a good relationship. Kubilay Kundakçı, along with Vahap Canbay and his friends, went to the front of the studio where Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu was located.
While the group was waiting inside the vehicle, it is alleged that suspects arrived at the scene in luxury vehicles with flashing lights and carried out the attack. Football player Kubilay Kundakçı, who was targeted by the bullets, was seriously injured. The young man, who was taken to the hospital, succumbed to his injuries despite all interventions.
7 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Among the suspects whose statements were completed at the prosecutor's office, Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, İzzet Yıldızhan, Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, M.R., H.C.A., M.K., and E.T. were arrested by the magistrate's court to which they were referred with a request for arrest and sent to prison.
