In Küçükçekmece, private security guard Ahmet Akarsu, who was going to work on his motorcycle, was attacked with a gun by his helmeted colleague Muhammet E.K. Private security guard Ahmet Akarsu (45) was ambushed by his helmeted colleague Muhammet E.K. in a street in Küçükçekmece while going to work on his motorcycle. Akarsu, seriously injured, was taken to the hospital but died. Meanwhile, police identified the suspect within 7 hours and took him into custody. In his initial statement to the police, the suspect claimed that Akarsu, who worked at the same workplace, had insulted and sworn at him, leading to the incident. It was revealed that the suspect went to work as if nothing had happened after the attack.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 1, around 07:00 on Çakır Street in Fevzi Çakmak Neighborhood. According to allegations, private security guard Ahmet Akarsu was attacked by a helmeted suspect who was waiting for him while he was going to work on his motorcycle. After being shot, Akarsu continued moving forward on his motorcycle for a while, and the suspect allegedly kept firing. Neighbors who heard the gunshots came out and intervened to help Akarsu, who was lying on the ground in a pool of blood. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

While police teams took security measures at the scene, Ahmet Akarsu, who was found to have been hit by 3 bullets, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after initial medical intervention. It was learned that the suspect went to work after shooting Ahmet Akarsu. Suspect Muhammet E.K. was apprehended by police teams at his workplace and taken into custody. It was learned that in his initial statement to the police, the suspect claimed that Ahmet Akarsu had insulted and sworn at him, leading him to commit the act.
