The name of Gizem Altunsoy, who was announced to be on the Ankara Provincial Executive Board of the CHP, sparked controversy due to her past posts on social media. It was claimed that after intense reactions, Altunsoy's appointment to the provincial administration was abandoned on the instruction of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, and it was decided that she would not be assigned any role within the party.
