President of the Turkish Football Federation, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, made striking statements regarding criticisms directed at him and referee controversies. Emphasizing that he acts impartially, Hacıosmanoğlu created a stir with his words, "If I touched it with my finger, Trabzonspor would have become champions."
"THERE IS NO STAIN ON OUR HEART"
Reacting to the accusations against him, Hacıosmanoğlu stated that some circles target the TFF in order to consolidate their own fans. The TFF President, noting that there is no ill intent in his heart, expressed that he was hurt by the statements made last season by people he considered friends.
REACTION TO CURSES ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Hacıosmanoğlu also strongly reacted to the insults directed at his family on social media. The TFF President, expressing his discomfort especially with the curses aimed at his deceased mother, said that he leaves certain individuals to God without naming them. Stating that he has never hidden his Trabzonspor identity, Hacıosmanoğlu emphasized that he still acts impartially in his role.

In the most striking part of his statements, Hacıosmanoğlu gave the example of Trabzonspor, stating that he does not interfere with referee decisions.
Referring to the controversial position in Trabzonspor's match against Alanyaspor, the TFF President said that if he wanted to be involved, he could have made the field and VAR referees award a penalty. Hacıosmanoğlu said, "Wouldn't I want Trabzonspor to become champions? But I am impartial. It could happen with a touch of my fingertip, but that comes with a responsibility."

Arguing that referee controversies are sometimes used by clubs to cover up their own failures, Hacıosmanoğlu stated that unfair accusations should not be made against people to influence communities. The TFF President, noting that they avoid being unjust, said they will continue to act transparently throughout their term.
