Ibrahim Dogan, who lived alone in the Manavgat district of Antalya, was found shot with a pistol in his home. Four suspects were detained in connection with the incident, and the couple Serkan and Fatma Yalvac were arrested on charges of 'Intentional homicide'.
İbrahim Doğan (50), who was found shot dead with a gun in his home while living alone in the Manavgat district of Antalya, was allegedly killed by 4 suspects who were taken into custody. Suspects Serkan and Fatma Yalvaç couple were arrested on charges of 'Intentional homicide', while 2 people were released under judicial control.
DETERMINED TO HAVE BEEN SHOT FROM A DISTANCE
Upon the report from İbrahim Doğan's relatives, who lived alone in the Cennetler area of Side District and could not be reached on January 21, gendarmerie, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to his home. After the fire brigade opened the door, Doğan was found lying on the floor in the living room. It was determined that Doğan was hit by 2 bullets in the abdomen and that there was a gun under his lifeless body. During the examination of İbrahim Doğan, whose body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute, it was found that he was shot from a distance.
ARRESTED ON CHARGES OF "INTENTIONAL HOMICIDE"
In the investigation carried out by the Manavgat JASAT (Gendarmerie Crime Investigation Team) and Side Gendarmerie Station Command teams, it was determined that on the day of the incident, İbrahim Doğan, Serkan Yalvaç, his wife Fatma Yalvaç, R.A., and A.Y. were in the same house and drinking alcohol together. The detention period of the suspects, who were taken into custody by the gendarmerie on June 8, was extended due to contradictions in their statements. After their procedures at the gendarmerie, the suspects were referred to the courthouse yesterday following a health check. After the prosecutor's interrogation, Serkan Yalvaç and his wife Fatma Yalvaç were arrested on charges of 'Intentional homicide' and brought before a criminal judge of peace, while R.A. and A.Y. were released under judicial supervision.
