Ünlü, who applied to the hospital after experiencing abdominal pain, was diagnosed with the problem as a result of examinations, and an immediate surgical intervention decision was made considering the risk of rupture. It was reported that after the operation, Ünlü's health condition was stable and he entered a rapid recovery process.
In the official statement regarding the details of the process, it was stated that the discomfort began yesterday morning. Ünlü, who prepared magazine articles until noon, did not cancel his daily schedule despite the abdominal pain that started during this time and increased in severity throughout the day. Ünlü, who attended an important meeting planned at HAYDER in the evening, was taken to Medipol Hospital around 22:30 when his pain became unbearable. During the examination and imaging performed there, it was detected that his appendix had enlarged.

Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, who was taken into surgery with the doctors' emergency intervention decision, came out of the operation successfully around 01:30 at night. While it was stated that his health condition was rapidly improving, it was shared that he had recovered enough to perform the morning prayer standing up. In the statement, where the hospital management and doctors were thanked for their close attention, it was emphasized that Ünlü expected prayers from his followers and intended to attend his regular chat program scheduled for Thursday.

However, since he had an important meeting with the hocaefendis at HAYDER in the evening, he first went to HAYDER for the evening prayer, and then went to Medipol Hospital at 22:30.
As a result of the examinations, it was determined that his appendix had enlarged, and he was taken into emergency surgery due to the risk of rupture, and by Allah's permission, he came out of the operation safe and sound at 01:30 at night, and Allah the Exalted granted him the ability to perform the morning prayer standing up.
