The leader of the Future Party, Ahmet Davutoğlu, made striking statements during a live broadcast he attended. Davutoğlu said, "I wish the AK Party had not lost me, I wish the AK Party had remained true to its principles. I wish it had listened to my warnings about political ethics; it would be in power at around 60% right now."

The General Chairman of the Future Party, Ahmet Davutoğlu, made statements regarding the agenda during a broadcast he participated in on Habertürk. Davutoğlu, who also used assertive expressions, said, "If the AK Party had not lost me, it would be in power at around 60%."

STRIKING WORDS ABOUT BAHÇELİ

Referring to the process described as 'Turkey without terrorism', Future Party leader Ahmet Davutoğlu stated, "Mr. Bahçeli used to mockingly call me 'Serok Ahmet' for many years. Such things happen in politics, I don't take it to heart. I sent Mr. Bahçeli two letters from the moment the process began. Within 1-2 hours, he called and said, 'Mr. Prime Minister, I agree with your opinions.'

LEFT THE DOOR OPEN FOR A 'NEW CONSTITUTION'

Emphasizing the need to return to a parliamentary system, Davutoğlu said, "As I have stated before and as is also in the founding declaration of the Future Party, Turkey needs to return to a complete and real parliamentary system. The constitutional debate should not be turned into a discussion of who will be in power in the next election. If the constitutional debate is about a real parliamentary democracy system rather than who will be in power in the next election, we would not say no."

"I WILL TALK TO EVERYONE FOR THE INTEREST OF THE STATE"

Davutoğlu continued his remarks as follows; "I wish the AK Party had not lost me, I wish the AK Party had remained loyal to its principles. I wish they had listened to my warnings about political ethics; they would be in power at around 60% right now. I left the AK Party at 49.5%. I came from the masses of the AK Party; I did not detach from those masses. When the interest of the state requires it, I will talk to everyone, but I will never compromise on my principles."
