After a foul smell spread from an apartment in Aydın's Köşk district, teams entered a flat and found the lifeless body of 63-year-old Sebahattin Göz, who lived alone. In the Köşk district of Aydın, teams entered an apartment following a foul odor emanating from the building and encountered the lifeless body of 63-year-old Sebahattin Göz, who had not been heard from for about a week.
FOUL ODOR PROMPTED TEAMS TO ACTION
The incident occurred on Eski Nazilli Street in the Çarşı neighborhood of the Köşk district, Aydın. Citizens who noticed the foul odor spreading from the apartment reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
LIFELESS BODY FOUND IN THE HOME
Teams arriving at the scene determined that the foul odor was coming from an apartment on the third floor of the building. With the help of firefighter teams, the teams entered the home through the balcony and found a person lying motionless inside. The investigation revealed that the deceased was identified as 63-year-old Sebahattin Göz, who was known to live alone in the apartment.
BELIEVED TO HAVE DIED ABOUT A WEEK AGO
According to initial examinations, it is estimated that Sebahattin Göz died approximately a week ago. Göz's body was taken to the morgue of Adnan Menderes University Training and Research Hospital to determine the exact cause of death. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
