Death toll in Venezuela earthquake rises to 6,509

The number of people who lost their lives in two major earthquakes that occurred on June 24 in Venezuela has risen to 6,509.

Jorge Rodriguez, President of the National Assembly of Venezuela, announced via his social media account that the number of deaths from the two major earthquakes that occurred on June 24 has risen by 71 to 6,509, and the number of injured is 16,740. 

STILL MISSING IN THE REGION

The Governor of La Guaira state, which suffered the greatest loss of life and property in the earthquake, Jose Alejandro Teran, announced that 1,579 people are still missing in the region.
