Members of the DEM Party's Imrali delegation, Pervin Buldan and Mithat Sancar, met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at Besktepe. In the statement made by the delegation after the meeting, it was stated that the importance of the current stage in the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process and what will be done next were mutually evaluated, and it was said, 'The common will to continue the process with determination was once again confirmed.'
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received the DEM Party Imrali delegation, consisting of Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) and Van Deputy Pervin Buldan, and Sanliurfa Deputy Mithat Sancar.
FIRST MEETING AFTER THE FRAMEWORK LAW'S APPROVAL: LASTED 1 HOUR 40 MINUTES
The meeting, held after the 'Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Cohesion', known in the public as the 'framework law', was approved by 467 votes in the TBMM, lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes and was closed to the press.
AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala and National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Director Ibrahim Kalin also attended the reception at the Presidential Complex.
STATEMENT FROM THE IMRALI DELEGATION: THE IMPORTANCE OF THE CURRENT STAGE IN THE PROCESS AND WHAT WILL BE DONE FROM NOW ON WERE MUTUALLY EVALUATED
Following the meeting, a statement was released by the DEM Party Imrali Delegation. In the statement, which noted the meeting was "productive", it was said, "In the meeting, the common will to continue the process with determination was reaffirmed once again."
The statement, published under the signatures of Buldan and Sancar, included the following: "Today, we had a productive meeting lasting about 1.5 hours with President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his delegation at Bestepe. We consulted with President Erdogan on developments in the Peace and Democratic Society Process. In the meeting, where it was emphasized that the approval of the 'Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Cohesion', also known as the 'Framework Law', by a very high vote of 467 in the TBMM was pleasing, the importance of the current stage in the process and what will be done from now on were mutually evaluated.

In the meeting, the common will to continue the process with determination was reaffirmed once again. From now on, our work will continue for the process to progress on the path of peace and democracy for the benefit of every individual in our country. We extend our gratitude to all political parties and segments of society who have strengthened us with their support, suggestions, warnings, and criticisms so far."
