The investigation into former model Deniz Akkaya, who was accused of assaulting her daughter, has been completed. In the filed indictment, Akkaya is charged with intentionally injuring her child with a weapon, and the prosecution is seeking a prison sentence ranging from 1 year and 6 months to 4 years and 6 months. The prosecution considered the thermos she threw at her daughter as a weapon.

Last May, allegations were made that Deniz Akkaya had subjected her 16-year-old daughter, A.Ö., to violence. Following the allegations, an investigation was launched by the Istanbul Public Prosecutor's Office. The investigation against Deniz Akkaya has been completed.

DAUGHTER WITHDREW HER COMPLAINT

In the indictment, it is requested that Deniz Akkaya be sentenced to 1 year 6 months to 4 years 6 months in prison for the crime of 'intentional injury with a firearm against a close relative'. It is stated in the indictment that Akkaya's daughter, A.Ö., withdrew her complaint. It is also mentioned that an indictment has been prepared against Akkaya and sent to the Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance due to the conversion of the file into a public lawsuit. If the indictment is accepted, it is expected that Deniz Akkaya will appear before the judge in the coming days.
