Detained comedian Deniz Göktaş shared his first message from prison through his lawyer Cenk Yiğiter. Stating that his morale is high, Göktaş said, "I'm in very good spirits, better than I expected," and joked, "My biggest problem here is that the World Cup has few goals." Comedian Deniz Göktaş, who was arrested and sent to Çorlu Karatepe High Security Prison after a process initiated following his stand-up show "Dead Sea," has sent a message from prison for the first time.
Göktaş's message was shared with the public by his lawyer, Cenk Yiğiter. Yiğiter, stating that he visited both Deniz Göktaş and lawyer Mehmet Pehlivan in prison, said that both of their morale is good.

Yiğiter, recounting that during the visit, Göktaş was asked if he had a message to convey to the public, relayed the comedian's words: "I am in very good spirits, even better than I expected."

Deniz Göktaş, stating that he follows the World Cup matches in prison, reflected his unique sense of humor in his message. Göktaş made a witty remark, saying, "My biggest problem here is that the tournament has few goals."
While lawyer Cenk Yiğiter also conveyed that the comedian supports Argentina in the World Cup, he said Göktaş has started writing a new podcast text in prison.
