MERT HAKAN'S POST

Mert Hakan Yandaş, whose contract with Fenerbahçe has been extended, addressed his fans with a post on his social media account.

Here is Mert Hakan Yandaş's post:

'There are some paths... No matter how tired you get, you never think of turning back. I have walked that path since my childhood.

Life never gave me anything easily. From a young age, I pursued my dreams, scratching and clawing my way forward. I fell, I got up, I fought. I never learned to give up. Because I knew that effort was the greatest capital of those who persevere. Today, I will continue on my path with the same faith and determination.

Today, when I look back, I feel like I want to hold on to one thing even more tightly.

Football... And this great club that gave me my life...

Let no one doubt that I will continue to carry the weight, responsibility, and value of this jersey with the same excitement as the first day. I will fight until my last breath on the field, leaving behind the noise, the grievances, and everything else, and continue to give more than my best to be worthy of this great community.

I am grateful to my president, our managers, our technical team, my teammates, and the great Fenerbahçe fans who have always stood by me under any circumstances.

This one-year new contract is not just a signature for me... It is a hand extended to stand up again... To hope again... To fight again... It means embracing this emblem with all my heart. In good times and bad, until the last breath...''
