Dense fog was effective in Istanbul

The fog that has been affecting some districts in Istanbul since the morning hours reduced visibility, especially around the Bosphorus and bridges; while drivers struggled in traffic, high-rise buildings and historical structures remained under the fog.

Fog was effective in some districts of Istanbul from the early morning hours. Visibility decreased due to fog, especially concentrated around the Bosphorus and its vicinity. With the first light of the morning, fog was effective in some districts of Istanbul. Fog intensified in the high parts of the city, around the Bosphorus, the July 15 Martyrs Bridge, and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge.

DRIVERS HAD DIFFICULTY PROGRESSING IN TRAFFIC

Visibility decreased due to fog affecting many districts on the European and Anatolian sides, while drivers had difficulty progressing in traffic. The upper floors of high-rise buildings became invisible because of the fog. Bridges along the Bosphorus line and historical structures also remained under the fog.
