Evaluating the presidential election to be held in 2028 and stating that it is still too early to determine the candidates, Müsavat Dervişoğlu said, "We need to look at who is being pitted against whom. One of the candidates being pitted is Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. In my opinion, he is a name that cannot be a candidate. It is unacceptable to run a name that cannot be a candidate. Survey companies are making evaluations based on two CHP mayors. They create a feeling as if a consensus has formed in the middle, and engagements have been completed. However, it is uncertain what will happen in the future," he expressed.

WILL İYİ PARTY NOMINATE A CANDIDATE?

Reminding that it is also possible for the İYİ Party to nominate its own candidate, Dervişoğlu stated, "It may also be possible for us to nominate a presidential candidate in order to convey ourselves correctly. We are not in a planning process aimed at shaping the future based on today's conditions. My main concern is what will happen to the citizens, the country, and the republic?" he evaluated.
