The leader of the Great Unity Party, Mustafa Destici, reacted strongly to DEM Party Diyarbakır MP Cengiz Çandar, who addressed President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, saying, "Put your Foreign Minister in line." Destici stated, "What is the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey supposed to do? Is he supposed to approve the establishment of a PKK state in northern Syria? Is that what you are expecting? Of course, he will not. His stance is the stance of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish nation."
Great Unity Party (BBP) Chairman Mustafa Destici made striking evaluations regarding the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process in his speech at the Denizli Provincial Congress of his party.
Destici stated that they support the goal of a 'Terror-Free Turkey' but emphasized that terrorist organizations cannot be trusted, saying, "We trust our state, our government, and our People's Alliance. But we do not trust these traitors in front of us. Why? Because they have no will of their own."

Destici continued his remarks as follows: "Look, do you know what they do not accept in Syria? Actually, I do not accept what they do not accept either. Look, what do they not accept? What could be better than this? What do they want? Look, one of the most important points of the proposal is this: 'It will be pledged that none of the Syrian government's army or security units will be allowed to enter the northeastern region under the occupation of the SDF.' This means that the SDF will effectively maintain its special control over the region.
Damascus will also grant significant representation rights to the SDF in the state's military and security institutions. The agreement foresees the allocation of three deputy minister positions to the SDF, including the Deputy Minister of Defense, the Deputy Minister of Interior, and the Deputy Chief of General Staff. On the other hand, it is reported that the integration of 70 high-ranking military figures from the SDF into the new Syrian army and their listing for leadership positions in the restructured Syrian army is underway. A tripartite military plan from Israel and a psychological war through the PKK… They do not even accept these.
