The presidential decree extending the Turkish Armed Forces' mission in Libya for another 2 years has been approved by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

The Presidential Decree extending the deployment of Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) personnel in Libya for an additional 2 years has been approved by the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

LIBYA DECREE APPROVED IN TBMM

After the General Assembly of TBMM concluded its budget discussions, it convened to discuss the Presidential decree regarding the extension of the permission to send troops to Libya for another 2 years, along with the "11th Judicial Package".

The Libya decree was unanimously approved in the General Assembly. Accordingly, the deployment period of Turkish soldiers in Libya has been extended by 2 years.
