DEVA Party member Gergerlioğlu is reacting to the fact that the killer who martyred our police officer was dressed in a black bag.

Last night, Yunus Emre G. (19), who was detained at the Dudullu Police Station in connection with motorcycle theft and was found to have 26 separate criminal records, escaped from the police station. Police officers K.H.S. and Şeyda Yılmaz, who were on duty at the station, pursued the fleeing suspect.

Suspect Yunus Emre G. was caught after a brief chase, during which a scuffle broke out. The suspect took the police officer's weapon and fired into the surroundings, resulting in the martyrdom of police officer Şeyda Yılmaz. In the incident, police officer K.H.S. and the suspect's mother P.G. (43) were injured.

TAKEN TO THE COURT IN A TRASH BAG

The individual, who was quickly detained, was brought to the courthouse today. The fact that the police officer was dressed in a trash bag and transported to the courthouse in an animal transport vehicle drew attention. The individual, whose interrogation began at the prosecutor's office, denied that he had martyred the police officer.

GERGERLIOĞLU OBJECTED

As our martyr was bid farewell with a large crowd in Sivas, DEM Party Kocaeli Deputy Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu made a scandalous statement on social media. In Gergerlioğlu's post, he stated, "Cursed be the murderer who killed the police officer, and shame on the officer who gave the order to transport him in a trash bag with an animal transport vehicle!!! When will this society understand that the punishment is not the police's responsibility, and when will they differentiate it, for God's sake!?"
