Hasan Güney, who wanted to sell his vehicle in Sinop, fell into the trap of scammers. The individuals who posed as buyers requested current photos of the car and then listed the same vehicle for sale at a price 200,000 lira lower. Seeing his own car in someone else's advertisement, Güney reacted to what happened, saying, "How many people have they scammed, is there anyone who has been victimized? No one has reached out to me. I hope no one has been scammed. Let's be careful."

Hasan Güney, who resides in Sinop, explained that he noticed the person who called him about the car he put up for sale and asked for additional photos later listed the car for 200 thousand lira less. Güney reported that he filed a complaint about the ad and warned citizens against similar scams.

HE WAS SHOCKED WHEN HIS FRIEND TOLD HIM

Güney stated that he shared his car for sale on the internet, and then a person called him saying they were interested in the car. He mentioned that they agreed on a price and that he sent additional photos of the car at the request of this person, later reporting that a friend of his saw that his car was listed for sale online.

"I CHECKED AND IT WAS REALLY MY CAR"

Güney said, "He shared my car. Moreover, he shared it for 200 thousand lira less. I don't know him. My friend asked me, 'Do you know him, bro?' I said, 'I don't know him.' I checked and it was really my car."

Following this, Güney reported that he filed a complaint and warned citizens to be cautious in similar situations.

"THERE SHOULD BE SEVERE PENALTIES"

Güney said: "Let's be careful. I shared it so that you don't get scammed, and this is also in their posts. What can the state do about this? I don't think it will prevent fraud. If the state catches one, another will pop up from the other side. There should be severe penalties. I've been thinking since last night, I wonder how many people they have scammed, are there any victims? No one has reached out to me. I hope no one has been scammed. Such things are not nice at all. My heart is not at peace with this. I don't want it to be done at my expense. I don't even want to cause it, and I took action as soon as I heard about it, I shared it, and informed my surroundings."
