In Ukraine's drone attacks on Moscow and its surroundings, a multi-story building, a shopping center, and various facilities were damaged. Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov stated that 16 people, including 2 children, were injured in the attacks. While the injured are being treated in hospitals, damage assessment and security operations continue in the region.
The toll is mounting in Ukraine's unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks on Russia's capital Moscow and its surroundings. Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov announced that 16 people, including 2 children, were injured in the attacks.
Russian officials reported that large-scale UAV attacks were carried out against the Moscow region during the night. While air defense systems neutralized numerous UAVs, some vehicles struck residential areas and civilian sites.
MULTI-STORY BUILDING HIT
Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov stated on his social media account that a UAV hit a multi-story building in the city of Zhukovsky, and residents were evacuated for security reasons.
After the attack, emergency teams were dispatched to the region, and damage assessment efforts began.
FIRE BROKE OUT IN SHOPPING CENTER
Vorobyov announced that a gym and an industrial facility in the city of Lyubertsy were also affected by the attacks. A fire broke out in a shopping center in the city of Kotelniki following the UAV attack.
It was reported that teams responding to the fire were working intensively to bring the flames under control.
16 INJURED
The Russian official stated that a total of 16 people, including 2 children, were injured as a result of the attacks, and the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment.
Vorobyov said, "As a result of the UAV attack, 16 people, including 2 children, were injured in the Moscow region. Necessary medical support is being provided to the injured. Efforts continue in the region following the attacks."
ATTACKS CONTINUE
Recently, there has been an increase in Ukraine's UAV attacks on Russia's interior regions, targeting critical infrastructure facilities and civilian areas around Moscow. Russian authorities announced that security measures have been heightened in response to the attacks.
