The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs delivered a protest note to Sweden regarding the drone attack on the Stockholm Embassy. Russia demanded that Sweden comply with the Vienna Convention.
Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a protest note to Sweden regarding a drone attack on its embassy in Stockholm.
In a statement from the ministry, it was recalled that the Russian Embassy in Stockholm was attacked with two drones last week.
SWEDEN'S AMBASSADOR SUMMONED TO THE MINISTRY
The statement, which noted that Sweden's Ambassador to Moscow, Christina Johannesson, was summoned to the Ministry, said:
"The Ambassador was handed a protest note over the attack, emphasizing that the indifference of Swedish authorities to the incident is unacceptable. Sweden was demanded to strictly comply with its obligations under the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and to take comprehensive measures to prevent such incidents."

It was reported that the Russian Embassy in Stockholm was targeted on July 2 with drones carrying red paint and fake explosives.
