HE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT WHILE FLEEING IN AN OFFICIAL VEHICLE BELONGING TO THE MUNICIPALITY According to information received, highway gendarmerie issued a "stop" warning to a moving vehicle around 10:40 PM on May 29. The vehicle, ignoring the warning and fleeing, was pursued by gendarmerie personnel.
The official vehicle, driven by Mayor Yalçin and identified as belonging to the Yaygın Municipality, collided with another moving car on Mustafa Kalfaoğlu Street in Devlet Neighborhood, Etimesgut district.
Selahattin Yalçin 2 PEOPLE WERE INJURED It was determined that there was one person in the official vehicle and five people in the other vehicle. In the accident, 2 people, including 1 child, were injured. The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment. Following the incident, Yalçin was taken into custody and, after the completion of legal procedures, was released by the court under judicial control.
