In the Antakya district of Hatay, teams dispatched to the area following a foul odor coming from a wooded area found a male body hanging from a fig tree. The unidentified middle-aged individual's lifeless body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy, and it was learned that the exact cause of death will be determined after the examination. Police teams have launched an investigation into a male body found in a wooded area in the Antakya district of Hatay.
The incident occurred in the Maşuklu neighborhood. Citizens who noticed a foul smell coming from the wooded area reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, police, health, fire brigade, and crime scene investigation teams were dispatched to the area.
FOUND HANGING FROM A FIG TREE
During the examination by teams in the area, a male body was found hanging from a fig tree. After the crime scene investigation teams completed their work, the body was taken down from its location by fire brigade teams.
IDENTITY AND CAUSE OF DEATH TO BE DETERMINED BY AUTOPSY
The lifeless body of the individual, believed to be middle-aged, was taken to the morgue by a hearse for an autopsy. The exact cause of death of the person, whose identity has not yet been determined, will become clear after the autopsy.
