The match between Galatasaray and Juventus in the UEFA Champions League will be officiated by Dutch referee Danny Makkelie. Makkelie had also officiated the match in which Galatasaray lost 1-0 to Monaco in the group stage.
In the first match of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 playoff, Galatasaray will face the Italian team Juventus on Tuesday, February 17. The referees who will officiate this match have also been announced by UEFA.
THE BIG MATCH WILL BE REFEREED BY MAKKELIE
The match, which will start at 20:45 at the Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex, will be officiated by Dutch referee Danny Makkelie. Makkelie's assistants will be Hessel Steegstra and Jan de Vries. The fourth official of the match will be Allard Lindhout. In the VAR, German Bastian Dankert will be on duty, and Benjamin Brand will serve as the AVAR.
