Three friends who went to an entertainment venue in Avcılar disputed a snack bill of 13,500 TL that was brought to their table. After the objection, the bill was reduced and paid jointly, but a renewed argument sparked by insults led to the venue staff assaulting İbrahim Halil Yıldız. Yıldız stated, "When one of my friends went to the bathroom and another went to talk on the phone, they found me alone at the table and attacked me," and he filed a complaint against the assailants.
Three friends who objected to a 13,500 lira bill for snacks at a venue they went to for fun in Avcılar, Istanbul, ended their night in the hospital. After the bill was paid, İbrahim Halil Yıldız, who was left alone at the table, claimed he was attacked by the venue staff.
THE 13,000 LIRA SNACK BILL WAS REDUCED TO 2,000
According to the claim, three friends who went to an entertainment venue in Avcılar faced a bill of 13,500 lira for a plate of snacks that came to their table. Noting that the amount was high, the friends objected, and after a discussion, the amount was reduced to 1,900 TL, which they paid.
THE BILL WAS PAID JOINTLY, BUT HE TOOK THE BEATING ALONE
However, after the payment, a dispute escalated when one of the friends cursed at the waiter. According to Yıldız's account, one of his friends went to the restroom, and another went outside to make a phone call. During this time, Yıldız, who was left alone at the table, was attacked by the venue staff.
"THEY ATTACKED ME WITH A GUN GRIP, HELMET, AND BASEBALL BAT"
According to Show News, İbrahim Halil Yıldız, recounting his experience, said, "At four in the morning, we agreed to go to a venue. When we entered the venue, they quoted us a price of 4,500 lira. We paid this amount and went to our table. One of my friends ordered snacks for the table. We received a bill of 13,500 lira. We objected to this bill. They gave us a bill of 1,900 lira, and we paid it. After that, one of my friends cursed at the waiter from our table. When one of my friends went to the restroom and another went outside to talk on the phone, they found me alone at the table. They started to attack me with a gun grip, helmet, and baseball bat," he said.
Yıldız, who stated that he was seriously injured in the attack, said, "My cheekbone and nose were broken. I opened my eyes in the hospital."
"I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO LEAVE THE HOUSE FOR A MONTH AND A HALF"
It was learned that Yıldız, who was treated in the hospital after the incident, had not been able to leave the house for a while. Yıldız, who said he had been trying to recover for about a month and a half, filed a complaint against the venue staff who assaulted him.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
