AFAD, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 occurred in the district of Refahiye in Erzincan this morning. Efforts are underway to determine if there are any injured or damaged individuals. Officials are urging the public to be cautious, while residents in the region experienced moments of panic.

AFAD reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 occurred in Refahiye district of Erzincan at 09:48. According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) data, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 occurred in Refahiye district at 09:48. The earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 9.48 kilometers, caused a brief panic. According to initial determinations, no negative consequences were reported from the earthquake.

Erzincan Governorate made a statement regarding the incident, stating that "There is no negative situation regarding loss of life or property damage so far, according to the field surveys conducted by our relevant units after the earthquake. Field surveys are still ongoing. In addition, no negative incidents have been reported by our citizens to our relevant institutions so far."

Erzincan Governor Hamza Aydoğdu wished a speedy recovery to the people of Erzincan and expressed his wishes for the country.
