The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Legal Counsel has referred Fenerbahçe's Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson, who received a red card in the Galatasaray derby in the Trendyol Süper Lig, to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) for two separate violations.
EDERSON REFERRED TO PFDK
According to the statement from the federation, Ederson was sent to the PFDK with precautionary measures under Article 41 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction for "Insult" and under Article 36 for "Unsportsmanlike conduct."
The TFF Legal Counsel referred Zecorner Kayserispor for 5 violations, Galatasaray for 3, and Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş for one violation each to disciplinary action.
MANAGEMENT IMPOSES PENALTY DECISION
Meanwhile, according to Sercan Hamzaoğlu's report, the Fenerbahçe management imposed a fine on Ederson due to his behavior in the derby. While it remains unclear whether the player will be dropped from the squad, it was emphasized that the management will not compromise on discipline.
