In the voting held at the 69th Ordinary General Assembly of the Ankara Bar Association, according to unofficial results, Elçin Özge Şimşek Çağlayan, who received 5,848 votes, became president of the bar association.

The 69th Ordinary General Assembly of the Ankara Bar Association was held at the Nazım Hikmet Congress and Culture Center.

NEW BAR ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT ANNOUNCED

According to the unofficial results of the election, Elçin Özge Şimşek Çağlayan from the Democratic Left Lawyers group, who received 5,848 votes, became the President of the Ankara Bar Association.

The candidate of the Turkish Nationalist Lawyers Group, Doğukan Kozan, received 2,997 votes; the candidate of the Lawyers' Rights Group Ankara, Funda Şahin, received 2,816 votes; and the candidate of the Democratic Lawyers Change Group, Mehmet Zeki Kaplan, received 427 votes.

The board of directors of Çağlayan, who was elected to the bar presidency, consisted of the following names: "Zafer Doğan Bilgin, Kemal Cihat Binici, Birgül Tavşan Kayıran, Aytaç Akansoy, Elif Canatan Köse, Mehmet Çağrı Songüç, Semra Aşık, Buket Yelek Bozkurt, Osman Onursal, Enver Başar Akdoğan."
