Emine Erdogan, wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, attended the program organized by Aigul Japarova, wife of Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov, for the spouses of leaders.
Emine Erdogan, accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who arrived in the capital Bishkek to attend the Opening Ceremony of the World Nomad Games and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Heads of State Summit, went to the Ala Archa Enesai State Guest House upon the invitation of Aigul Japarova.
Emine Erdogan was welcomed by Aigul Japarova upon her arrival at the guest house.
SPOUSES OF LEADERS GATHERED IN BISHKEK
The program hosted by Japarova was also attended by Mehriban Aliyeva, wife of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President of Azerbaijan, Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, wife of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Within the scope of the program, the spouses of the leaders walked in the guest house park and watched a concert given by children and young people wearing traditional clothes in a Kyrgyz yurt, playing instruments unique to Kyrgyzstan, including the komuz.
After taking a family photo, the spouses of the leaders toured the ethnic exhibition featuring handicrafts unique to Kyrgyzstan.
THEY GOT TO KNOW KYRGYZ CULTURE CLOSELY
The spouses of the leaders, who examined felt embroideries, rugs and kilims, handicraft products, fabrics, and clothes belonging to Kyrgyz culture, petted eagles and traditional hunting dogs called taigan, which hold an important place in Kyrgyz culture, and took photos.
The spouses of the leaders received information about the exhibited works from Mirbek Mambetaliyev, Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan, who accompanied them.
Later, Emine Erdogan and the other spouses of the leaders, who moved to the Enesai Reception House, were greeted at the door by Kyrgyz children with flowers.
THEY WATCHED THE CHILDREN'S CONCERT
The spouses of the leaders watched a concert and folk dance show prepared by children's groups under the leadership of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan.
At the concert, along with the Turkish piece "Gulum Benim," works belonging to the countries of the other spouses of the leaders were also performed. During the concert, images of Emine Erdogan's previous contacts in Kyrgyzstan were also reflected on the screen in the area.

We closely examined each work shaped by skillful hands and recognized unique examples reflecting the aesthetic understanding and mastery of Kyrgyz culture. In the continuation of the program, we listened to very valuable melodies performed by children's groups. The melodies rising from little hearts added a special beauty to our day."
