A farewell ceremony was held for Necip Uysal, who retired from football at the end of last season at Beşiktaş, before the Eyüpspor match. Necip Uysal, who wore only the Beşiktaş jersey throughout his professional football career and served as team captain for a long time, had announced his retirement from football at the end of last season.
A farewell ceremony was held for Necip Uysal before the Eyüpspor match, as he had been stripped of the captaincy mid-season and finished the season training individually away from the team.
PLAYERS FORMED A CORRIDOR
A special video prepared for Necip Uysal was shown on the stadium scoreboards. Beşiktaş players formed a corridor as the experienced player took the field. Team captain Orkun Kökçü gave flowers to Necip Uysal, and Uysal then took photos with the players.
JERSEY NUMBER 20 FROM SERDAL ADALI
Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı also gave a special gift to Necip Uysal at the ceremony. Adalı presented the experienced footballer with a framed version of the Beşiktaş jersey with the number 20, which he had worn for many years.

Necip Uysal, who came onto the field with his wife and children, addressed the black-and-white fans. Uysal said, "Great Beşiktaş fans, thank you all very much. You were always behind me in good times and bad. I love you all, forgive me."

After his speech, Necip Uysal went in front of the North Goal Stand. The former Beşiktaş captain completed the farewell ceremony by leading the black-and-white fans in the traditional three-point cheer.
