Newly released documents about billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein reveal that he conducted a massive 'honey trap' operation targeting the world's powerful figures for years, and that this network was used on behalf of the Russian intelligence agency KGB.
New documents emerging about billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of child abuse and died in prison in 2019, have caused a significant stir in the international public. According to claims based on intelligence sources, Epstein ran a massive "honey trap" operation targeting the world's most powerful figures for years, and this network was used on behalf of the Russian intelligence agency KGB.
More than 3 million new documents published regarding Epstein suggest that he may not only have been a criminal but also at the center of a global blackmail mechanism. Security sources allege that Epstein collected "kompromat," or blackmail material, on politicians, businessmen, and celebrities by using women and young girls.
One of the most striking elements in the documents is the mention of Russian President Vladimir Putin's name hundreds of times. According to the files, despite being convicted of facilitating child prostitution in 2008, Epstein attempted to arrange meetings with Putin in the following years.
Emails from 2011 and 2014 contain statements indicating that Epstein planned to meet with Putin. While it remains unclear whether some of these meetings took place, the correspondence shows that Epstein was trying to establish direct contact with the Kremlin.
U.S. security officials state that the system Epstein established is of unique magnitude. An intelligence source summarizes the situation with the following words:
"Very powerful figures like Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and Prince Andrew were secretly recorded on a high-security island. This could be the largest honey trap operation in history."
According to allegations, Epstein used women brought from Russia and Eastern Europe to lure these individuals into secret relationships, and the obtained footage was kept for blackmail purposes.
Experts believe that Epstein's entry into this world was through Robert Maxwell. Maxwell was a media mogul who suspiciously died in 1991 and was accused of being connected to Russian intelligence and the Israeli secret service Mossad for years.
Maxwell's daughter, Ghislaine Maxwell, received a 20-year prison sentence for the child sex trafficking crimes she committed alongside Epstein. Warnings made to the FBI suggesting that Epstein may have also worked on behalf of Mossad are included in the documents.
According to FBI records, Epstein had close ties with former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak. The documents suggest that Epstein provided Barak with intelligence about Putin's entourage and may have engaged in espionage activities.
Additionally, messages indicating that Epstein could provide information about Trump to the Kremlin before the Trump-Putin summit were also included in the files.
Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in a U.S. prison in 2019. Official records state that the cause of death was suicide, but his family and some lawyers believe he was killed to silence him.
All the famous and political figures mentioned in the documents deny any allegations of involvement in crimes.
